Power source when on location for G4 Powerbook and G5 Tower with display

Hi,

Wanting to finD A safe way of powering:
(1) G4 Powerbook without spare battery. anyone know any external battery sources?

(2) G5 (2.5) Tower with display. Some kind of rechargable battery source of generator

Any help?

As I see it, you have two options.

1. Pick up some of those UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) things and get them charged for use on the road.

2. Get a gas powered electric generator.

UPS usually don't have too much power... especially for a computer like a G5... i doubt you'd get more than 10 minutes (i think UPS's are designed to give you time to save and shut down your computer in case of an outage)
