Sorry if this a dumb question but I'm relatively new to IPhones.

I'm selling my 2 3GS's tomorrow and I want to know how to clean all my stuff off my (and daughters) phone before I hand it over.

Also, I'm getting new iPhone 4's on Thursday, so after I get them do I just log onto ITunes to restore all my apps etc. on to the new phone?

Thanks.

I looked into this a year ago when I got rid of my 2G. I can't remember where I got it from, but this is how it goes: Restore from iTunes and set up as a new phone, then completely load and delete music 3 times. Since there is no way to fully format an iPhone, this method gets rid of any traces of data by writing and rewriting multiple times.
