You sure about that? Traditionally Apple has not accepted cash for iPhones because many grey market resellers paid for phones with cash.
Yes you can, however they will make you buy an Apple Giftcard to cover the cost of the entire purchase
Yes. I called today, to make sure, and they said cash is fine. Last year, I had to buy a gift card first, which wasn't a big hassle; took another five minutes max, but they're saying that step isn't even necessary this time around.
That said, I decided that I didn't feel comfortable carrying that much cash around while standing in a long line, so I'll be using a card anyway. 15 minutes on hold for nothing. Here's hoping it helps someone else.
