OP Mac or PC?

+1

If on a pc this happend to me as well.

It isnt apples fault, it is actually a driver fail on windows behalf. First unplug the phones from the computer then, Delete the device from within "Device Manager", restart the computer then reconnect the phone and see if that works. this is what i had to do, it worked for a while then happened again, then i just restored my os (win 7 premium) and haven't had any issues since.

Did you try rebooting your iphone? Turn it off and then back on. See if that does anything.

i finally thought to do this about 10 minutes after i posted. i was also updating software since i just upgraded to snow. i'm all good now, not sure if it was the update or the reboot, but i'm leaning toward the reboot.

I am on a PC, I have spoke with pretty much the whole apple time and just got off the phone with them again. I have to say they have been super helpful even though they cant get it to sync on my computer.

Is there a way to chat/talk to a itunes rep to see if I can get my information sent to the itunes on my wifes computer? It will sync with hers just not mine.

Itunes sync issue

Guys

I have just upgraded to a new Mac 3.2 GHz intel Core 13.

I also purchased a new iPhone 4 and so this opened a separate account.

I Migrated my old files over from my old iMac to the new one which included my iTunes account.

But when I plug in the sync cable from the new iMac to the new iPhone - nothing.

I am sure I am just being a numpty here. Or am I ?

iphone4 not syncing

Itunes crash when I plug in my iphone4.
Reinstalled the latest itunes, deleted files in users, etc etc
Even deleted apps on my iphone. No joy.

I gained back 'some' control by going edit>preferences>devices and checking the "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from syncing automatically".

Seems my issue is related to itunes being unable to create a backup...?

Getting error log:
