Personally I am on the fence between Craig and Connery. Craig is more serious but Connery is classic. I choose Craig but by a close margin.
I grew up on Roger Moore, so I have a soft spot for the guy. Connery's the man, though, as is Daniel Craig if he keeps it up.
I feel sorry for lazenby. Probably one of the most under appreciated Bonds. He wasn't that band and I very much enjoyed OHMSS

I prefer Roger Moore, followed by Sean Connery and Pierce Brosnan. Daniel Craig is the worst of all and hasn't deserved to be in the film. The films where he starred were the worst Bond movies ever....
He was a casualty of the times. 1969 was just a hard time to be successful. So much turmoil in those years. They tried to be classic British cool when that wouldn't work. Look at the next movie, Diamonds are Forever. Connery in 1971 Vegas. What a joke. But a tribute to the times.
Was it an interesting and entertaining story? You bet. Was Lazenby just fine? Yep.
Bad timing.
A lot of people don't like a certain Bond actor because they don't like the films he starred in.
Are we going by best Bond films, or most suitable Bond?
Connery was in some really crap Bond films, but suited the role. Same with Brosnan. If you're going to fault Brosnan for the bad Bond films he starred in, you should probably say the same of Connery. Neither of them write the script.
And Golden-Eye is probably one of my top 3 Bond films, where Brosnan played Bond.
The only Bond actor that didn't suit the role was Daniel Craig, but I think Casino Royale was my favourite Bond film. I know......confusing.
Diamonds are forever...sucked. Have you heard of Never Say Never Again, the unofficial bond movie?
