As predicted, Apple launched new iMacs today featuring the latest Intel Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 processors and new graphics cards.
"We took the world's best all-in-one and made it even better," said Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Product Marketing. "With the latest processors, high-performance graphics and signature aluminum and glass design, customers are going to love the latest iMac."

Wow - only i3s - apart from the highest end. I was expecting i5s at least in all.


No Mac Pros.. still.

Are the ATI Radeon HD 5670 any good for games? Did apple up the graphic cards due to Steam?

Finally got rid of the Core 2 Duo processors. Sadly, the video choice, while significantly better, could have been a tad bit better. Shouldn't they have 1GB video ram across the whole line, no?

How does this compare to the 2.8ghz intel core i7 imac I bought on the last refresh?

The CPU upgrade is OK. My only problem is with pricing. Especially in Euros ...

Wow, i know this wasn't expected to be a major update, but God forbid Apple would come up with a new design! I've been waiting literally six years for a design that wasn't just a computer-in-a-monitor. Another year, another disappointment. Did they fire all the guys who did the iMac G4?
