The photos sync'd onto my iPhone4 from my iPhoto library show up on my iPhone at a very low grainey resolution.

However if I email the photo's from my phone they email across at full resolution, so they are obviously stored in the correct resolution.

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if anyone knows of a way to display the images at high quality?

this happened to me when I first upgraded my 3GS from 3.1.3 to 4.0, the moment the upgrade was complete, I unplugged my phone to browse the new features and I quickly noticed all my photos were low res, so I plugged my phone back to computer and hit sync, this time iTunes said "Optimizing Photos". Once that was complete, photos were back to normal.

Thanks! I was having this problem as well, but didn't know how to solve it. This worked.
