Ok I've got an Apple TV waiting to get setup (just waiting for a new tv).

We've got 1 iMac with 2 users set up on it. All the movies and tv series are setup in itunes on my user account.

Is there any way for me to be able to access my itunes films/tv shows on the Apple TV whilst my girlfriend is logged in under her username?

She only uses itunes to sync up her phone, but she only has apps. She doesn't have any movies etc stored in her itunes account. I wouldn't want apps synced as we both have iphones - only movies and tv shows.

I'm really confused... is it a case of moving my library to the public area and making it available to her, or would moving everything to a NAS drive be simpler?

Thanks!

You leave your account logged in the background with itunes running while your girlfriend switches to her account. It should work fine. I have an iMac with 4 accounts on it. I leave my account with iTunes running while everyone else does their thing on their account.
