I have office 2008 on it but it does run really slow. Agreed I need to max out the ram first (it's at 1GB). Would this make any difference? Or am I best going for 2004?

I have iwork 05 already on this but any ones better?

its a gigabit so dual 450mhz processors and as my sig ays ive done the 9800pro GPU mod.

Office 2004 is faster than 2008. Or you could try Neo Office or Open Office as they are both free.

Office 2008 could be the worst written Macintosh application ever. Whoever coded that was either lazy or not very smart. It runs slow on my MacBook Pro with 3GB of RAM and brings my 12" Powerbook to its knees. 2004 definitely runs better.
