A few days ago, the iPhone Dev Team released the second beta of redsn0w 0.9.6. It is supposed to be able to jailbreak the iOS 4.2 GM build.

I tried it and it jailbreak successfully, but now the screen flickers on regular usage. Nobody else has reported this.

Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.

hey I have had the same problem. The only solution is to hold shift (control on pc) and click on update in iTunes. Then browse to the 4.2 firmware and click okay. You will get everything back to normal without losing your data.

Yeah, I know that a restore would fix it. Seems like The iPhone Dev Team is still working out some bugs with the iOS 4.2 jailbreak.
