I have a second gen ipod shuffle that I have had for several years and never had any problems with it. About three months ago, the charging dock for it broke, and it has taken me about three months to get a new one, but it the type of new one that comes with the newest ipod shuffle. Anyway, after the dock broke, then I ran the battery all the way down until none of the light would come on anymore. So today, I plug it in for the first time, but there is absolutely no response from it. There are no lights turning on, and so I tried all of the usb outlets on my mac, and I used my apple wall charger, and still no response from it. I am wondering if this means that the battery is gone, or if there is just a little trick that I do not know about. Thanks for the help.
