VistaPrint ripped me off
I ordered 250 cards from VistaPrint, then got the bill for 500. I received 500 cards - quality was acceptable. My bank credited my account.
VistaPrint customer service is non-existent.

I ordered a sample pack from them, their stuff is fantastic and very professional. Plus the sample pack comes with a discount card on your order.
I liked the cards I got from PSPrint better than the ones I just got from Vistaprint. Once you order 250 and up, they use a real press at PSPrint. It looked like Vistaprint was still using inkjet because the ink coverage wasn't nearly as nice and my colors looked washed out. I also paid extra for heavier stock and I really couldn't tell the difference between the heavier stock from Vistaprint and the standard matte stock from PSPrint.

I used Vista Print a couple of times, but I'm not going back.
Pros: Vista Print is very fast, and cheap. They've got a big design selection also.
Cons: Vista Print's cards are cut smaller than ordinary business cards. You also need to be careful at the check out process - they like to default you into ordering additional things if you're not paying attention to what you're agreeing to.

I use my vistaprints cards if I am going to be in a situation handing out cards willy-nilly; wedding fair, leave a little stack on a table at the reception, etc.
For giving to clients at meetings or random people I meet day-to-day, I use MOO. More expensive, but worth it.
I use 30 or so different images for the backs, with one image on the front of every card. Very high quality, eco-friendly, great service and timely turnaround. Plus it comes with a neat little card holster.
+1 I thought I had said "no thanks" to a free magazine subscription (didn't even look at the mag list) but it appeared on my final bill and ended up being "Essence". A fine magazine but I'm not black so I wasn't really their target audience. I got it cancelled but since then, I received a mailing from the NAACP thanking me for my past support and could I donate again, lol. So, because of Vistaprint, somewhere in the ether for who knows how long, people think I'm black, lol. I think Vistaprint is really a magazine reseller, not a print supplier.

Vistaprint is the devil. Shop locally. Don't let you being antisocial prevent you from doing it.
I'm in the opposite boat. I'm looking online because of a horrible local printer. I ordered business cards that were completely unacceptable. They didn't get the color even close, the entire design didn't even print - literally faded to white, and the stock was super thin. To add insult to injury they even overcharged me.
To be objective & fair they blamed it (after the fact) on the software they use being older and my copy of CS4 being "too new". Needless to say they lost my business, and the other local options are just as bad.

Unfortunately Moo.com doesn't do standard business card size of 2" x 3.5". They do the odd 3.30" x 2.16" which isn't standard here in US. This is not good for certain industries but may be accessible for designers.

Moo.com is a great choice to run with, I'm sure you'll be happy with end results. Great value and lots of flexibility with them, and the cardstock they use isn't half bad.

That's exactly how it works with a local printer. Plus you get to see a press sheet before they run the entire job.
Vista Print has done me well -- I've ordered both b&w and color cards from them, and the color fidelity is great--same as what I see in Photoshop.
