Has anyone else noticed their hardware running hotter under Lion? It could just be my imagination, but it seems like my mid-2010 13" MBP is warmer than it normally is under SL. Maybe it just misses the SNOW part :D

+1. My 2010 15" MBP also runs hotter and uses the fans much more under Lion compared to SL. Likely due to debug code running, IMO.

In developer builds, there are a lot of tasks running in the background at random times so Apple can collect data. That's likely what's causing it.
