Not to start an AT&T vs Verizon war, but that's exactly why I switched from Verizon in the first place.

Even with my FAN discount, I was paying about $10/mo less to have your basic Flip Phone (send a text message on that phone? BWAHAHAHAHAHAH!) with 900 minutes (more than I ever used, but their 400 minute plan wasn't enough, and they had NO in between) than I'm paying now to have my iPhone 4 with unlimited texts & unlimited data. Even with the ETF, I still managed to come out ahead within a few months of leaving. Verizon was great, if you have a family plan, but it's just me, and virtually everyone I called was on AT&T.

When I originally switched, I'd bought a refurbished iPhone 3G, and simply had the unlimited data & 200 text messages, and ended up paying less. It was about a year before I added the unlimited texts, since I had a manager who did virtually everything by text message ;)

I really love at&t. We live in way northeastern Minnesota and at&t's voice service is better up here with less dropped spots than verizon. However, there is no 3g internet yet. The closest used to be 2 hours away, now it's like 15 minutes away. At least I know it's coming.

I'd LOVE to drop verizon, but the other two phones on that plan belong to my parents and their contracts have like 9 months on them still I think. When I checked with verizon our ETF for all 4 phones was like 700$ :(

The OnePlan on 3? Amazing deal, wish that had been available when I got my iPhone 4!

Next time...

Yeah. It's a great deal. Shame I barely use the minutes! I make the most of texting and internet though.

If you are on 3 for your current plan, they should let you change over to The One Plan.

Nope- o2 :( but I've still got a fairly good deal.

My gf is on 3, I'll look to switch when my contract is up (18 months time!).

At least I got a better deal than the Yanks though! :p

Wherever the army needs me.
Rogers Wireless - $118.00 (Including GST & PST)
Unlimited Can/US LD Minutes
Unlimited Texting
5GB Data

Considering how many bloody provinces I end up in a year, the LD alone is worth the costs - plus I never need to bother with a landline.
