I've done it. The quality wasn't that great but it worked. Kinda cool.

If someone started using facetime on a plane I might "accidentally" spill my drink in the middle of their laptop over a bit of turbulence.

I suspect on next bit of turbulence person would probably smash their broken laptop over your head. "Accidentally" of course.

I tested Skype on a plane with wifi and it worked well. Only used for a couple seconds though. Not facetime yet.
