Try the other one. Does it have wiper?

In the theme files for the one I have now I can see .png files titled "wiper" in the root of the theme and also in the "rain" folder, so I know it has to work somewhere along the line. I just can't figure out why it wouldn't be.

Bump, wondering the exact same thing. Anyone?

That could probably be done in the LoadBackground.html file, since really all the springboard is doing is loading that local web page from your phone. I think it would be awesome to have just the weather so I'm going to look and see if I can get the clock out. There's already an option to disable the forecast, so that's out of the way.

Agreed - weather floating around the springboard would be quite nice.

The grass wallpapers are bundled with the theme and automatically change if you do not have a custom wallpaper set.

when the theme in the first post is loaded the backgrounds shown are not the ones that come up. you get some basic black background that stays put... SSHing into the theme folder i cant seem to locate it either...

to get the grass background edit "/Var/Stash/Themes/HTC Animated Background/configureMe.js" and change

var showBackground = true
to
var showBackground = false

okay last question...
my slider is missing the knob... i understand i can find one from weather elements, but how do i go about installing it?

i tried just hiding the slider with lockinfo or springtomize and it still shows just the 'slot'

I no longer use Winterboard or themes so can't give you a detailed answer. But if memory serves me correct you need to install Weather Elements and copy the contents of:

<Weather Elements Theme>\Bundles\com.apple.TelephonyUI to

<HTC Theme>\Bundles\com.apple.TelephonyUI

I personally did not bother with the stock images as they looked rubbish on a Retina display. However there are hi-res versions floating about the net without the slider cutout. Do a search on MacThemes and you should find them.

If you don't use Winterboard anymore, how are you using this HTC theme?

I am not using this theme (or any other themes) anymore. I have reverted back to the stock lockscreen and Lockinfo.

Actually I was looking for the other one :) The rolling green hills... (thanks though).

This was a special one-off retina version I found on the net when I was searching for the hi-res versions.

The night time version is not so good as it appears upscaled and badly photoshoped at the bottom.

Wow, that looks awesome. Thank you very much.

Now I'm assuming that there needs to be a night time version of that wallpaper in order to replicate your first post? Thanks again for the help.

Yes, I used to get that too but only for a split second as it is trying to get the weather data. It used to pi*s me off so I edited the code to display a blank image as default until the correct weather image loaded.

EDIT: This is what you need to do:

1. Make a backup copy of LockBackground.html
2. Open LockBackground.html and search for: <img id="weatherIcon" src=""
3. Replace src="" with src="../blank.png"
4. Copy attached blank.png image to the root of the HTC Theme (same folder as LockBackground.html)
5. Respring and say goodbye to the stupid box

Note: You won't be able to see the attached image as it is 'blank' - just right click and save.
