Similar to the huge ongoing thread (https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/824940/)...but solely devoted to the mid-2011 imacs.
It appears the yellow tinge issue has not been resolved by apple. I have already sent one 27" 2011 imac back. The poll will help gauge the issue to see how many 2011 imac owners have a 'good' imac vs those that have a imac with the yellow tint.
Please see below for instructions:
http://tapplox.com/imac-led.html
1. While focussing your eyes on the grey bars at the bottom
2. Resize the height of your browser window so that the grey boxes are almost touching
3. Resize the browser back to full size
4. Repeat steps 1-3 several times. Do the test while you are looking directly at the screen, do not tilt your screen up or down. Align your eyes perpendicular to the screen.
Don't forget to vote and post screen shots if you have a 'yellow' imac.
Thanks
