Hi all,

I was just curious what sleeves people have bought for their iPad 2? I'm talking about something that only stores the device, you would have to remove the iPad to use it. In other words, a sleeve, or zip case.

All the ones I've found are for the first iPad, and therefore fit very loosely on the 2nd gen.

Any tips on the best out there, that are snug fitting?

I use an Incase MacBook Air (11 inch) sleeve. It fits quite well and can accommodate for the smart cover. It's very light, and works well for me.

Try the Sena Ultraslim which Has the sleep function:

http://www.senacases.com/apple/ipad-2-cases/ultraslim-cases/

Sena also has the Collega which seems like a good alternative.

For Sena orders, use coupon code PCWIPINK11 for 20% off (enter on last page of order).

Coming May 31st from Beyza Cases, the Zero Serie, also with the sleep function:

http://www.senacases.com/apple/ipad-2-cases/ultraslim-cases/

From SF Bags, there's the Ultimate Sleeve that gets excellent reviews:

http://sfbags.com/products/ipad-cases/sleevecases-ipad.php

I have one advice to give you, be careful with sleeves which are advertised as accommodates the Smat Case. I ordered the SGP sleeve and my naked iPad fitted very loosely in it. I returned it.

Thanks for that. I've ordered exactly the same colour and should be here on Monday. According to their site it also works with the Smart Cover on. Have you tried it with that ?

you wont regret your buy. the case is simply gorgeous, and yes it works with the smart cover applied (i have the blue one)!

Thanks for that they look great! Can I ask, is it snug on the iPad 2? In other words, no movement at all? I'd hate for a loose fit

i have bought vaja premium leather sleeve which is beautiful! It will also work with smart cover applied! Here is an unboxing video i have made.

It looks great, but doesn't seem to wrap properly around the iPad 2 once in? Can you confirm? Seems like a pretty big problem, unless it's just rigid from first use? Will either go for the vaja or the joli.

It was rigid from first use I guess! The case is amazing I haven't seen any flaw yet.The only negative is that once smart cover applied it adds some bulk to the case.

Has a super-tight fit, if I keep it upside down it won't fall out :)

Whether it compares to the Vaja case quality wise is hard to say though.
Well check out the comments on etsy,.. it looks like everyone is quite happy with the quality :)
