Is there a software for Mac OS specifically designed as a portal for forum browsing/posting besides standard web browsers? Some features:

-Standardized viewing format and size
-Easily browse multiple forums
-Easily post on multiple forums
-Receive updates/new messages

I've noticed that many forums I check use Vbulletin, I'm wondering if they have software for that standard.

Currently I'm using multiple tabs open in Firefox, and when I post copying and pasting Subject, Body Text and Tags with TextEdit. Seems kinda old school. I believe iOS has specialized forum browsing software.

Any info much appreciated!

Depending on the forum software and the way it is configured, you may be able to use an RSS reader to do such. I run a phpBB forum that is so configured with the exception of the posting messages.
