Hi All,

I'm hoping you can help me, I have an external HDD that i need to format to Fat32 in order to be able to use it with my ps3.

I have gone into the disk utility but the only option is FAT not FAT32?

Am i missing something or is there an application i need to download in order to be able to format something to FAT32?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks
z

In Disk Utility, click "Partition", select "FAT" as the file system, and make sure to click the "Options" button to the left of the "Apply" button. Select "Master Boot Record" from there.

Then click Apply, and it should work with a Ps3 or Windows computer.
