What Temperatures you get with Lion GM ?

I installed last night to test my temps were a few degrees cooler the UI seems much quicker unfortunately Logitech does not seem to have a driver for my mouse which is a deal breaker for me I can't live without them extra buttons...

Are you still getting high temps? Initially you temps might be higher because spotlight is indexing.

90-100 F here with fan control. Lion temps are higher for me as well.

Same as before. Ripped 3 DVDs in Handbrake, was the same high temp as always but it just ripped through them lickety split.

Sitting on between 65°C and 70°C now, fans at 2000rpm but I can't hear them.

I don't mess with fan speed or anything like that, I figure Apple's got smarter people than me who know when my fans should come on.

Well, I wouldn't credit them too much. My machine runs at up to 130F without fan control. The screen starts getting graphic glitches and if I don't run the fan at maximum speed my computer freezes. I am glad some people with newer hardware are doing better.

USB-Overdrive runs fine here with MX518+Lion GM

Something wrong with it then.

My machine is three years old and used heavily all day every day. If it got glitches and freezes under load I'd be taking it in for repair.

Mine is a 2006 model, right before applecare expired, everything was changed. Video card twice, Y-splitter, logic board. Same ****, same issue. I got tired of carrying my 24" iMac to the store. I just live with it now, waiting for it to die.

35°C with the fans around 4000rpm. Safari is on and with itunes in the background. Room temperature is around 20°C

Looks like a paid app I'm a cheap SOB and the Logitech drivers have always worked fine so I'll stick with it for now I'm in no great hurry..

I don't know the temperatures, but Lion is definitely running hotter on my Late 08 MBP. On SL I would rarely ever hear the fan but since updating, it has been doing it often. Time Machine hourly backups has been doing it, but sometimes it is nothing more than just normal browsing. I seem to recall SL running hot when it first came out. Hopefully it improves.

thats what I'm getting on my late 09 mbp

I've also noticed lion has made my mid 2009 13" MacBook pro feel quite significantly hotter! It averages 55-70c when just browsing the web. I'm not sure how much hotter this is than snow leopard was but it was certainly more uncomfortable browsing with the laptop on my chest!

I'm going to time machine back to snow leopard temporarily to see if that fixes it until I have time to do a completely fresh install of lion to see if that helps!

Seems pretty much the same to me on my late 08 MacBook Air 2,1.

Lion GM on MBP 13" (2011), i7 8gb RAM, 120gb OWC Mercury Extreme Pro 6G.

I haven't noticed a difference in temps at all. In fact, while playing games it seems to keep a good 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit cooler. (Although performance seems a bit worse than 10.6.8)

It runs significantly hotter for me about 58C when first booted. Snow Leopard used to boot up at around 44C.

Early 2008 MBP, 2.4GHz, 4GB RAM

it´s run verry hot when watching an movie on VLC or QuickTime Player. About 10-15c higher - the fan at 5000-6200 rpm vs 55-60c and 2500 rpm on Snow Leopard.
