Problem with Apple IR remote

Hey guys,

I got a pb with the apple remote, it doesn't anything basically, except when I press the menu button one it shows this :


if I push the menu button once more it shows that :



I tried to pair the remote with pushing the menu and next button for 5 seconds but doesn't do anything too...

Do you have any idea what's going on ?

I got it it was the Skim application that was getting exclusive access to the remote control....
