Since 2011 Mac Mini was already out, we now quit speculating it and start speculating on the 2012 Mac Mini. Doing this may be a relief to those who are disappointed with the 2011 Mac Mini line and raise expectations for them. What will Apple do to the 2012 Mac Mini line?

And here I was wondering if it's too soon to start speculating about OS X 10.8 Sabertooth.

Haha :D

Seriously though, Ivy Bridge, more RAM in base config. (no more 2GB), USB 3.0, etc. That's all I can think of right now.

USB 3.0 will be obsolete by then. Even the power cable and electricity in general will be a bag of hurt. Just sell me a hollow silver box. I will give Apple one thousand bucks.

Powered purely by cowbell, the 2012 Mini will float on your desk using the "force"

Powered by "Sabertooth ;) " your gestures within the "force" will permit the Mini to accomplish all your tasks in a "natural" manner.

There are no more desktops in 2012. You just connect your monitor / big screen TV to the cloud over WIFI, log in to your "computer" and there you go.

Hah, you guys are quick with the 2012 predictions.

My guess : The base line will have 4GB of RAM a SB quadcore of 2.0ghz 500gb of HDD with an optional 250gb ssd added (like the server now) and the same AMD Radeon HD 6630M card from the mid line. ooh yeah and the base price will be 699 instead of the 599 because quad-core is ''expensive'' (in Apple terms)

I expect the server edition together with a nice quadcore ivy bridge and a slightly better video card than the mid line. RAM and hdd/ssd will stay the same.
