Hi McR community. I am new to this forum.

I have an iPh3GS and would like to sync my device to my niece's iTunes to get some new music. I do not want to delete the songs which are already on my iphone though.

I have the idea of backing the songs in advance to my computer and then syncing with the other iTunes, so at least I can add what's been deleted by the hungry monster. =)

Could you tell me more about disk usage for iPods?

Thanks,
Matt

Hi Matt, welcome to the forum.

I am sure this has already been answered a thousand times.

If you are using windows, this would be useful to you:

If you are using Mac, then use detune - here is a review on cnet:

abs_p thank you for the info, luybimoff thank you for the links.

I find the step-by-step instructions from the first link particularly helpful (i'm using a pc - i think it is evident by now).
