Honestly, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. If you create at least one major industry shift in your career it is great. Thus guy carved a whole new river that will be traveled on for generations.

crap, I knew I should have sold my stock at $400

So sad, hope it's more precautionary.

I wonder if this means his health is getting much worse. Maybe he figured it'd be better to implement succession while he is alive (with the perception of it being organized and collected) than shock the world and the markets if he were to die while holding the position.

I hope that he is fine though and that even as Chairman of the Board only he will still lay out his visions and help make sure that products are designed and built to high quality standards we all know and love.
