hey guys!

i have noticed some weird noises while moving my 12" IBook 1.2ghz.
After listening closer i could identify the harddrive making that noise. it only makes the noise if i move the laptop. it doesn't make any sound at all when it's on a desk or something. everything is working fine and it has been doing that noise for about 2 months now. the SMART status is ok too. i backed up my data as i always do..
is that normal? should i have it checked out? it makes this noise like a bee, just like if something like the disk was scratching on the case while spinning.

any suggestions?

round the corner
I heard that sound too

I'm now running my Powerbook with a new hard drive, the old one started to die not long after I noticed the growing noise

Best be prepared to replace you HD

Can I ask, is this noise continuous or every so often. Every now and then my Powerbook 15" hard drive becomes noticeably loud but 30 seconds or so later it becomes its usual purring self, I have no concern at all but I though I'd ask.
