I just got this one
bookbook-macbookair-case-04.jpg

And I am using it inside this bag. Good thing it is waterproof, since it rains alot here.

Although I dunno if all of it is waterproof, as I noticed my book(real book:p) got wet. Uncertain if it was because I let the bag be partly open, or if it there is one place that isn´t completely waterproof, or if it was my bottle with water.

Well atleast the laptop compartment was completely safe.

I actually really like the OUTSIDE of the BookBook case.

But the inside- with the little straps on the corners of the monitor and stuff -- looks absolutely terrible.

I totally agree

I just ordered a ColcaSac Hanakapiai.

Like their design and it got a case on the sleeve for the macsafe

I keep saying I'm going to review my felt sleeve but I never seem to have time...stuck between catching up on Mad Men episodes on netflix, work and bar outings....so here goes:

I have the Charcoal Merino Wool Felt Case with Leather Strap from Untype.com and its the one that I recommend to people with MBA's or iPads. When I'm travelling for work, I get asked all the time about it. If you want the cheaper version, there's one without a leather strap. Both look very stylish but I think the leather goes well.

The protection is pretty good in that the felt has protected my MBA while in my messenger bag with all my other crap in there (pens, iphone etc). I swing around that bag quite a bit and its taken serious punishment in the plane overhead bins when I fly.

As for the :apple: aesthetic, it goes perfectly with the MBA and keeps the weight off the whole package when you travel. I HATE travelling heavy and that's why I jumped on the MBA, so I needed something that was going to protect but not weight a lot.

The cool thing is that it's hand-made. I would go with either the White, grey or charcoal versions if you do get one. I prefer charcoal but that's just me.

They still have that promotion going on their website which brings the cost down significantly. The code is: "Summer11". Here's the promo code link.

Here's a pic of the one I got from their website:

I'm currently using a Mailman Messenger bag and the Shuky Par Avion Sleeve. They are both a little pricey but they look great with my Air.

They originally sold a bag like this at J Crew but I wasn't able to get my hands on one so I had mine custome made. You can pick one up at this website for $275.00. http://www.etsy.com/listing/81313760/vintage-style-leather-postal-bag?ref=sc_3

The sleeve is also leather and it is very well made. You can get one at http://www.shuky.com/ for $129.00 but they will give you a $10.00 discount if you Tweet about them.

I'm using this sleeve from "Freiwild", a german manufacturer. It's very nice, top quality, reasonably priced, i really love it! Fits my MBA perfectly and comes in different colors!

Material is wool, quite similar to some sleeves already shown in this thread

I put it in whatever bag i am using that day, good protection! First i feared contamination with some of the wool but after a couple of days using it there is nothing like that at all!

pictures taken from http://www.apple-weblog.de

Bought it here:

PS: Iphone and iPod products also in stock!

I got a Level8 sleeve. I am very very pleased with the product. It is a tight case, protects the device with bumps inside and looks good.

Okay, something seems to be wrong with the forums. It's not letting me upload the pics. Keeps saying there's an error. I'll try again later? I don't have much time. I will say this about the BoxWave Elite leather sleeve:

Overall, I will say it is a great sleeve. The magnetic clasp is strong and reliable (just have to make sure it clicks correctly; very easy to do), and the fit is snug but not so snug it's difficult to slide in and out (like some other really tight fitting sleeve). So far it offers good protection (no zippers or anything) and the leather, while fake, is still quite nice (especially for the price) both aesthetically and also grip-wise. Personally, I find neoprene sleeves annoying because when you carry them, the sleeve inadvertently bunches up and "ripples" where you're holding it. The leather here is nice and firm and keeps its shape.

Anyway, good luck. I'll try to get those pics up later.
