might be picking her up tomorrow

my dad wanted one of these but the guy at the dealership talked him out of it. my dad was ready with cash in hand and the guy explained to him how bad they were in the wintertime. so anyway having one of these and living in new england didnt match up so good with the north easters we get.

he is actually a little irritated at this point because the car he ended up with he doesnt like.

Buying my first place, it's a short sale so taking a long time. But what can I say getting a fantastic deal. :D

Congrats. I just bought a HUD home and it took a very long time to close. The whole process including replacing the floors took 3 months.

Just got done with school and found an awesome job. Some things I have on the list are:
199_main_f.jpg

2009 or newer 328xi coupe manual, with nav, heated seats, premium package. Figure next car buying time I will get the larger engine. Currently drive a Jeep Cherokee and this will be a significant upgrade. Trying to take my time to get the one I want (colors/options), but it's hard not to just get one "close enough".

IMGP1848.JPG

HK USP compact, either 9mm or .40. Prob lean towards the 9mm as it will be my first handgun and will take some range time to get more proficient. Thus cheaper 9mm ammo.

sony-bravia.jpeg

New TV. Have the last of the HD tube TVs, a sony xbr 960 which weighs 200lbs and is only 34". Thinking of a 46-52" Sony would be nice. Cat is going to have to find a new spot to sleep.

Lastly
apple-macbook-air-1.jpg

Macbook air. Up in the air about it. Have a Mac Pro, iPad and a 12" Powerbook. However the 12" powerbook isn't all that new, plus it really shows its age on the internet.

An Apple Thunderbolt Display (27-inch) to go with my new 2011 15" 2.3GHz MPB 8.2 - hoping that the Aberdeen AppleStore will have these by next weekend as I'll be there on the 17th & 19th moving my son into university accommodation.

Thanks! I'm super excited and hopefully the sellers bank aren't foolish enough to reject the offer. They just finished their appraisal last week and have to come back now with their decision whether they want to move forward or not. Hopefully they will, the townhouse has been on the market for 420 day now .

Only plus side is interest rates keep falling so thank goodness I'm not fully locked in yet!

Probably an HTC Evo 4G, Black. Looking into different carriers, Sprint seems to have a better deal when it comes to plans, Trying to save money, and plus it will be nice to have a change from the iPhone. :)

Don't worry, D3100 is really nice camera. I have D7000 (and D5000) here and my father got D3100 what I expected to be quite rubbish, but actually it was not! Just buy good lens to it later on, it will make all the difference with pictures.

This is a distant future purchase because, 1.) I don't need a cell phone now, and 2.) I really don't need the "anytime anywhere" connectivity, but:

A white iPhone 4. :)
