Wow. Just wow.

Truly an innovator and visionary. You sparked life into a company that was going in the wrong direction in your absence, but I feel you left Apple in capable hands.

I doubt if there's another CEO in the world whose passing would sadden me so personally.

I honestly feel like I just lost a family member. You guys can call me crazy or whatever, but I'm not good at handling death, of any sort. I feel like he was taken from us too soon, but that's life I guess.

Steve may you rest in peace knowing your legacy will live on forever. We'll miss your snide remarks at keynotes and your black turtlenecks (lol :() and all the innovative products you didn't get a chance to show us. RIP Steve Jobs.

Steve's passing reminded me of the poem, The Dash. Below is an excerpt from that poem.

It's not the date you were born, or the date you died, that really matters. It's "the dash" between those years and what you do with it, to make a difference with your life.

Steve's vision changed how we interact with not only electronics, but also people. His charismatic character would have audiences hanging on to his every word. He was a great leader, visionary, and from what I know a good man.

Steve, the dash between your 56 years was truly amazing.

Reserved seat at keynote

Highlighted at least 3 times. The reserved seat was moving to see even though the news had not been announced.

Listening to CNN and Leander Kahney in a small UK town. With my ever faithful iPad on my knee as always now.

Gutted.

RIP

Sad to see someone leave who could have done so much more.

Thank you!

RIP Steve

My thoughts are with your family. There's not a lot of people in this world that I can say that I admire, but he was definitely one of them.

Wow. Just... speechless.
This is the first time that I shed a tear for someone I don't personally know.
Rest in peace, Steve. Your passion and brilliance will be missed terribly.
