The fact that it replies 42 for the meaning of life kills me!
Hitchhiker's Guide is one of my favorite movies.

The book is way better!

I asked: do you like Hal?

Everybody knows what happened to HAL I'd rather not talk about it.

2nd answer

Of course I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for him.

Is it just me, or are Siri's jokes really not that funny? There are some easter eggs when you do certain google searches that are really witty, but these seem kind of bland and sarcastic.

Also, does anyone remember SmarterChild? Now that was a funny robot.

Makes me want to get the iphone 4s just to try some phrases up. Too bad my iphone 4's contract has a lot of life left in it. I guess i will have to wait for the iphone 5.

Someone ask Siri how to get out of your cell phone contract.

Mines nearly a year left.
Going to get one off contract, sell my 4 to cover most of that, then when 5 comes out do the same and get a nice £10/month unlimited data/text/loads of minutes microsim.

Unless you are in the US, then I feel for you....

Yeah and when was the last time you EVER saw anything like this before??!

I'll keep saying it, it's a game changer. A life changer. It's in Beta and it's pretty amazing. This is quite obviously the future. First buttons were replaced by touch, next touch is replaced by voice.

Eventually, voice replaced by thought. (Im not joking!)

I have a good feeling about this one: try "How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?"

Confirmed, Siri replied:

It depends on if it is an American woodchuck or a European woodchuck

using the UK siri I got

Me: "What are you wearing?:

Siri: "wearing?"

Me: "Yes, what are you wearing?"

Siri: "Why do people keep asking me this?"

haha

I also asked "Why Can't You Understand Me?"
and got
"I'm sorry, your language is somewhat new to me, can you try asking me in a different way?"

----------

British Man Siri

Me: "I love you"
Siri: "All you need is love, and your iPhone"

.....love it!

NEVER going to happen. Manual input can not be replaced by voice commands, too many situations in life where talking into your device to command actions or dictate text isn't practical.

Siri is still in beta because they spent so much time figuring out witty comebacks to questions that were obviously going to be asked. :)
