Ok this is frustrating. I am just trying to put a picture on my iPhone from my computer.

I read this thread:

https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/579981/

and I read this:

http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236

To sync photos from a Mac or Windows PC to your device using photo applications
Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed.
In iTunes, select your device's icon in the Devices list on the left.
Click the Photos tab.
Choose "Sync photos from."
On a Mac, choose iPhoto or Aperture from the pop-up menu.
On a Windows PC, choose Photoshop Album or Photoshop Elements from the pop-up menu.

Note: Some versions of Photoshop Album and Photoshop Elements don't support collections. You can still use them to sync all your photos.

This is what I see on my iTunes, yes it is the latest version, updated this morning:

What Photos tab? Where is it?

It seems I don't have a photos tab, putting music on my iPhone is not a problem, but I can't put pictures on.

Please help, TIA.

You have music selected. You have to select the actual device. In other words, click on "stefan's iPhone" and you should see the tabs.

Of course I clicked on stefan's iPhone.

I did not want to display my phone number/serial number in the screen shot.

I do NOT see the tabs when clicking on stefan's iPhone.

The tabs you see in the screen shot are the only tabs I ever see.

Here is what the "tabs" look like. I just took this photo 5 minutes ago and I selected my iPhone in iTunes.
