The JAAAG

It's too bad Jag stopped offering manual transmissions for their sport cars. I always liked them, and they put on a nice display at ALMS races, but it just seems wrong to get in a car as badass as a XK-R and have a slushbox. The XK should really have a double-clutch gearbox.

This thread is awesome, a lot of us while being Mac enthusiasts are also car enthusiasts. :)

My current is a 06 Scion tC. 5spd manual transmission, with a TRD exhaust and a cold air intake. Great car. Starting to look into a 04 Audi S4 or a 07 Audi A4.

Thank you for the compliments on both the cars! Yeah that's my dad's truck, I love it, but I would never buy one, I'm not a truck guy. I much prefer the tC. :p

My car was totaled a few months ago (not my fault, and insurance agreed...) and since I'm in college now I can't have a car first year, so I just drive my parents', but I'll post a pic for old times sake. Really loved my car, took really good car of it and asides from being t-boned by a guy running a red light, had no problems.

This was my first car, and was definitely an amazing one!

'09 Infiniti G37S sedan, custom painted grill, tinted windows, smoked tails. No engine mods or interior work though.

Handlings very nice for a bigish car. Took it up a mountain road and was nice fun. Yes the XK should get a DSGesque double clutch. But i think for some reason their selling most of their R cars also as GTs than track cars. But the ZF 6speed is pretty capable in manual mode and has some fun software that blips the engine on downchanges :!
Sweet XF! I love the supercharged version. How fast are they and how's the handling? nobody can dispute they are beautiful machines.

Washed my car today as I noticed someone scratched my car! So I washed, dried and applied some Meguiars ScratchX to see if it can remove some it.

Sorry for the lame iPhone 3GS photos...

Meguiars ScratchX kind of worked. I applied it four times. Seems a bit better but it's still there and it makes me sad :(

Get a paint touch up kit from the dealer, and use a Langka kit. If you are patient and do it right, you won't be able to tell there was a scratch.

Scratch-X is an extremely light polish. Have you tried any compounding?

Perhaps wetsanding then. I usually work from lightest to heaviest, if I can't get something out with a heavy compound, I'll wetsand.
