it does appear so. i'm just shocked, shocked! i tell you, that i haven't seen a thread asking what OS X 10.9 will be called.

Really is a thready for everything..

The icon might not look as nice as Lion, but honestly I couldn't care less what the icon looks like as long as the OS works well.

I actually had a passing thought that the icon represents the diminished expectations I have for future Mac OS releases now that they're going to be in the style and schedule of iOS updates. It does appear somewhat anemic. So I'm OK with it.

That's because he knows his days are numbered.

Now that you show it to me it does look totally CGI as opposed to the others (which are much more pleasing).

I believe it looked like this:
