I've noticed mildy annoying thing on my revD PB. The catch which locks the screen to the keyboard when it folds is getting more and more loose. A friend has a 1GHz PB and hers has never shut properly (or fully flush) from new, it always rises about 2-3mm (but is still locked). Anyone else noticed this and if so, is there a quick-fix solution?

Cheers,

AL

If you mean that the screen doesn't sit against the base of the powerbook, I think this has been done on purpose. Look at where the hinges are. There's the same gap there. If the screen were to sit flat against the base, the keys would damage the screen. I think this is the way is always has been (same on my old tibook) and the way it always will be!

That's a good point actually as there isn't that much room between the two. Still think my friend's too loose, but mine is fine with this theory in mind.

Good call!
