Anyone using any of the monoprice cases on the new iPad? Specifically the ones with magnetic inclosurers? And are they fitting/lock and unlocking? Thanks in advance.

The leather-ish looking one that has the back shell and "smart cover" built in together doesn't fit.

Whoops. I just ordered one for my new iPad from Mono price. The exact one you listed above. Are you sure it doesn't fit?

There is a video on YouTube from the link above showing it fits...

It fits, tight but good. However, my magnet close open does not work. This probably explains the price drop. I wonder if we can get to the magnet in the cover to flip it as polarity is the issue. Maybe a small well placed incision located by use of another small magnet.

Bought all three cases and all three fit and are tight. As the poster above mentioned the magnet isn't the correct polarity so smart cover function doesn't work but I made an incision and flipped it and all is good now. The White TPU case is by far my favorite and I don't really see myself ordering anything else for a while. The TPUfits and looks great and gives me awesome grip while holding or laying the iPad on my leg.

I ordered that white TPU based on your recommendation. Hope it's good!

I talked with Monoprice today and they said they are going to have cases for the new iPad by the end of the month or early next month at the latest....just a heads up.

I want a case that'll fit over my body skin to use on occasion. Has anybody gotten the premium silicone case, does it feel really ugly or not tha bad? I'm thinking that's the only one that would fit.

Wait what? Is the white ipad thicker or something? Because mine doesnt even come close to fitting. Talking about the black with smart cover by the way.

I have the white iPad.... and all three cases fit. You just need a little finger strength to get the cases on... and i've taken them all off and put them back on multiple times and the extra tightness is causing no issues.

Any chance you might be willing to share a photo of where you made the incision? I just got the case in today and am not sure where to start. Also interested in how you resealed it?

Nice case, and I agree, super tight fit!

Exactly my experience

I hear the Monoprice TPU cases are too tight to allow for a screen protector?

How are the silicone cases? Good feel and fit?

Based on this thread I ordered a black case on Monday for my new iPad3. Received it today along with a couple of the monoprice screen protectors that are getting great reviews.

Very happy with what I've received. For less than $8 this thing is great. I can report the same as several people above. Tight but very good fit. Magnetic smart open doesn't work.

I've yet to instal the screen protectors so I don't know if they'll work with the case.

+1 on this request. Is the entire insert the magnet? Photos would be a big help.

I just received my clear tpu case along with a matte screen protector.

The case fits albeit tight but that's probably a good thing.

As for the screen protector, I'm not a huge fan. They ran out of the clear when I added it to my cart, so I settled for this.

The screen looks really grainy, more than a power support film, which is expected. The feel of the film is also pretty bad, my finger gets stuck when sliding across the screen. Definitely going to replace this one.

PS: I wasn't expecting much to begin with but I needed something temporarily and these were only 9 bucks shipped.
