No Fan Operation

I have been using my eMac (ATI) in the middle of the night with the plastic back panel off, and the fan un plugged. If i didnt do this, my dad would take it. Are there any items that could be damaged if the fan is unplugged, i only use it for 1-2 hours like this.

Yes, all the parts that the fan is designed to cool.
And if you insist on playing with your computer in the middle of the night, you also might end up damaged. ;)

Search the forum. Some weeks ago I installed a FanMate 2 in an eMac and achieved almost silent operation with the fan working.
