Hi Guys,

I have a Iphone 4. I bought a plastic film adhesive screen protector. I placed it on my screen, but as I did not like the air bubble look these films create I removed the plastic screen protector film.
Problem is, now my iphone screen has air bubbles!
To be clear, my actual iphone screen has bubbles. The screen protector is no longer on iphone, but It has somehow created air bubbles on the actual Iphone screen!

I telephoned by network provider(o2 UK) from whom I purchased the plastic films from, any they denied that this was even possible!

I googled my problem, and I can only find 2 instances of this happening with a screen protector, they posted on this forum also, but no advice on how to solve:

There is a general thread on bubbles on this forum:

But i am out of warrenty, does anyone know if Apple UK will give me a replacement? Or how I can remove the bubbles myself.

I've seen this with some iPhones where it appears as if there are bubbles in the actually screen but it's just residue from the s Rene protect that looks like bubbles. Try and alcohol wipe and lightly rub it on the screen, it won't hurt it done it plenty of times, it should remove anything there. I don't see how air wou,d a fully get under the glass and cause bubbles, doesn't seem possible to me but then again I've seen stranger things. Hope everything works out for you
