deleting iCloud acct on my old iPad

I want to give my iPad 2 to my Mom. I want to delete the iCloud account on that iPad. It prompts "Delete Account, If you delete your account, all photo stream Photos and docs stored in the iCloud will be deleted on this iPad"

So does that delete my data in the cloud or just the iPad 2. I don't want to mess up my iCloud data, I want to give her her own iCloud acct.

It worked fine, I deleted the iCloud acct on the iPad 2 and my cloud data remained intact.
