Sorry I just purchased my iphone yesterday and want to jailbreak to possibly use 3g unrestrictor, multiflow and sb settings.

Is there a jailbreak option for an iphone 4s running 5.1. If so where do I find it? if their isnt. what is a great website to learn about jailbreaking and cydia?

There currently isn't a way to jailbreak an iPhone 4S running 5.1. You can use this site to see if your device is jailbreakable and what to use to jailbreak it. http://jailbreak-me.info/index.php

You can easily navigate through cydia apps and tweaks here http://www.cydiapp.com/

Yes you can jailbreak 5.0 and 5.0.1 but if you're on 5.1 and you haven't backed up your SHSH blob and APTicket then you can't go back to 5.0 or 5.0.1

Wrong. You can't use APTickets to revert to earlier firmwares on A5 devices.

I still feel that jailbreakme.com is the easiest there is. If your device is not supported, it will tell you so.

Is there a twitter or blog we can follow of the people who do the jailbreaking? So we can see if they have any updates?

Those were done by safari exploits, I'm afraid those don't seem to be that prevalent anymore.

Which really sucks because i just got my Sprint 4S two weeks ago and it came preloaded with 5.1 on it.

I got lucky. The 4S I got last week still had 5.0.1 on it. The first thing I did when I got home was jailbreak.

And some of us waited 4 months for the 5.0/5.0.1 jailbreak. All good things in there time.

Yeah. I just hate waiting. lol. After you've had a jailbroken iPhone, it's hard to like it stock. There's so much i want to add. New stuff that has come out since i sold my iPhone 4 last April, mostly. Oh well. It'll come.. right before the iPhone 5 and iOS 6. Then the chase begins again. Haha.
