I'm doing a replacement icon set for the adobe suite. This is a work in progress, and the colors, details, and typeface will definitely change. I'd like to release them at deviantart.

Which ones would you consider (using if any)?

Wow...I like them a lot. How would you get them to overlay on the actual program file? Are you going to sell them?

I like them and would probably use them. I think the first set is better with the color on the top, would be easier to see when just glancing at your apps. Not too sure that the actual names of the software is needed though. If you're using Adobe, you know what the abbreviations are.

I like the icons very much and appreciate that you're willing to share for free...but where can I download them?

Thanks,
JC

As a replacement icon set I don't think they work very well. Your typography will always be limited at this scale and yours is far too small.

However, the colour division is an interesting idea, but will always limit the usable space.

I for one would not like to try and improve on the CS5 icon set.

I like them. Personally I'd choose to leave the application name (the full name) out of it. You know the 2-letter name for it, and you can only read the full name when it's in your Dock (assuming your Dock is expanded large enough.) Maybe play around with how much white you show too.

Overall they are very nice. :) Good work!
