On a Late 2011 Macbook pro 2.4ghz, 16GB ram, 256SSD, 1GB GPU model.

Fresh install of 10.7.3 with WoW, I turned settings to ultra with everything on max settings on a high pop realm in Org and I get 15FPS........

Now I fired up bootcamp, installed windows 7 professional updated the system and downloaded and installed again WoW. Same settings all on Ultra on same realm and I'am getting 87.5FPS solid....

Like wth?........are they suppose to be this dramatic in difference?

I think the biggest problems on OS X side are the water effects and sunshafts, and of course really high anti-aliasing. I keep all of those at minimum and the game is very playable at 20-60 FPS. Answer to your question is yes, there is a dramatic difference but it's mainly those parts that I mentioned that have problems.
