(Reuters) - Digital music streaming service Spotify may see revenues top 6 billion Swedish crowns ($889 million) this year as it pushes ahead with its rapid expansion on both sides of the Atlantic, founder Daniel Ek said in a newspaper interview on Friday.

That is impressive, but they have worked hard for it. Spotify is a great service I have subscribed to every now and then when my music collection is out of action. I'm sure I'll subscribe again in the future somepoint.

They still got some markets to expand to



Expand to Germany last month (3rd biggest in the world)

Japan (2nd biggest...but this one will be very HARD to get license)

South Korea is a good market to expand into.


Spotify is seeking VC funding that value it at $4 billion USD.
