I'm unable to find it myself. I think it was pulled, just as I saw this thread. :(

I can confirm that the app was pulled between 7:20 and 7:30 PM EST time. I downloaded it to my friends iPhone at 7:20 and then when I went to do his iTouch, it was gone.

OnOff gone?

It seems that this app has been removed from the App Store. Goodbye app, goodbye 99 cents!

Yep, that is the reason why I didn't get it.

Even if it still technically works, Apple will work day and night to block whatever the app did to access it.

Let's not fool ourselves, Apple doesn't do it because they don't know how, they don't want you doing it period.

It's the Steve Job's method, he doesn't want on and off switches, he wants you to keep bluetooth on all the time if you need it.

I agree

I suspect you are right-on. Nonetheless, I hope I'll be able to enjoy this app until this feature is included in the next update.

Why? It's not showing up AT ALL for me... and it won't show up in my recently purchased either.

(Edit: or did you think it was bs that they pulled it? lol)

BS that Apple pulled it. Simple and very effective app. It's like when they pulled Handylight which is what I use to tether my phone.

Anyone else have any issues with it. The one device I bought it to use with (Escort Smart Cord Live) now won't work. Says it's connected, but won't communicate. Worked fine until I used this App.

One thing I did notice is that if I turned BT OFF using the phone settings, on a reboot, BT would be back on when the phone came back up. I deleted the App and the same thing happened. Had to reinstall the App, use it to turn BT OFF and then reboot. Then it stayed off.

Still won't connect to the SCL. :(

this draws a lot of attention, interesting. it's quite similar to Windows phone though. it takes several steps on WP and ios.

one touch on/off option has been available on Android for many things like - BT, gps, wifi, sync, sound on-off etc without a special app. this feature built in.

If you just need to turn Bluetooth on w/o going to settings there's a free app called BlueOn that's been out since 2010.

They should allow us to keep the Bluetooth app. I could see why Handylight was taken off (since you had to pay to tether the phone). But this just shows how strict apple is with their apps.

In cyanogenmod there's a popular notification dropdown widget that gives you the ability to turn bluetooth on/off, among other things (wifi, cycling through brightness settings, sound modes, etc).

All useful features. IMHO my favorite 'pop up setting' was in WebOS.

This one pops only that part when you want to change settings (and ICS has it), BUT you can adjust brightness while still being in auto mode (epic awesome)

Of course, Apple will never allow you to adjust the brightness when in auto mode because "it just works". It's funny, there's a thermostat out there called the Nest themostat that is credited as being "very Apple-esque" - it lets you do just that and Apple would probably rather stick something with no controls whatsoever on the wall hehe :D

So wait a minute... Apple has removed this app from the AppStore, and I've already purchased it and downloaded it to my iPhone. Now I wanted to download it to my iPad and it's not showing up in my Purchases list. Likewise not found in purchases on my iPhone (where it is installed).

Does this mean if I happen to delete it, I'll lose it forever?

What about my 99 cents?

It's not really about the buck, it's more the principal of the thing. Shouldn't they refund my purchase?

WIFI and Bluetooth ...

They have both been around for a while. All in one app on Cydia. It works on your notification bar. It also turns on and off a number of things used everyday.
To those users who have never unlocked your phone with a jailbreak, you are only using half of what your phone can do.:apple:

Steve Jobs was a control freak. I don't think he wanted you to do that other half with the phone because the iPhone is supposed to be so good you never need to tweak with the settings. XD

You should be able to sync your iPhone with your Mac/PC and then do the same with your iPad.

I thought it was up longer than that, but I got it too. I forgot the color combination to start the hotspot. (haven't needed it, work provided me with an android with hotspot)

This is hilariously late, but it's Blue, Yellow, Red, Upper-left corner. In case you ever use it again :).

i D/L it when came out, still works in 6.1!
Yes, apple made a smart move in 6.1 to have BT switch top level in settings, but the BTOnOff is still great.
