Well I got rid of my Nissan 240sx and picked this bad boy up... I love this car. It is allot faster than my 240 was.
It's a 1993 BMW 325is 5 speed, with a few mods...
This is it behind my Girlfriends 2009 Toyota Corolla-S which isn't to high up this car is slammed.

That thing is slammed.. I'm hoping you're saving yourself trouble in the future by at least using a quality Coilover Kit?

I got the car yesterday this is what it has on it.. I bought it this way.. I plan on making this car very nice... And doing it the right way but I feel for a DD Coilovers are a bit of overkill.
-3.91 lsd
-dc sport cold air intake (ran into bumper)
-efan wired to switch
-resister wired in temp sensor (this tells computer that's is runs colder, to dump more fuel in)
-full straight 2.5 pipe to a n1 style muffler (no cats or resonators)
-Meagan lowering springs
-kyb struts

That's definitely fair! Just looking out for you - When I was younger I had a similar style/taste/vehicle and patched together a lowering spring kit with struts and it was a big mistake. The inconsistency of compression etc with a paired strut will kill them quickly. I ended up going with a KW V2 kit, you can find them for a decent price if you have the means. The ride will be a little more acceptable also, I know I was bouncing around like a ping pong ball!

Either way, enjoy the car, and congratulations on your new purchase!

Amazing how gracefully this car has aged. There isn't another car south of $50k that I want more. Thinking about replacing the wheels though, anyone interested?

Nice! IMO, that is the 2nd best looking M3, and the last M3 worthy of its name. First of course would be the E30 ;-)

However Europe did get a proper engine in their E36...

I too would ditch the wheels, not a fan of the staggered dish. The OEM look pretty sharp IMO.

Agreed. Very nice looking coupe. I think it would look very nice with black and chrome lip rims. I have a honda accord with tint, it is black and has black and chrome lip rims. I have bias though because I like the blacked out look.

I'd agree on the wheels. Maybe try finding a set of the larger OEM on craigslist? They look great, especially when super clean.

Any particular reason for the I30 Touring wheels? :p I'm actually planning on doing the opposite anyway, picked up a free set of I35 wheels that I plan to put on my 2000 I30 'base' as soon as possible

I got them like that with the car. We have a 2000 Q45t with the same wheels.

Picked a '12 GOLF tdi on Thursday and couldn't be happier. LED DRL, Adaptive Xenon, Nav, bluetooth audio and iPhone connectivity. for under 30k. I'm speechless

Somewhere else
Traded the 'speed3 for the 'slow5.

Much more useful for small families in the city though.

Still, I need to keep some semblance of testosterone in the garage.

oh okay. i'm sorry. i can't seem to delete my previous post. :(
thanks for telling me :)
No biggie. :) It just became a problem once before where the spirit of the thread got diminished with too many bogus posts. That's why we made the other thread. You can start a new one for 2012 if you like.
