The best wireless headset I've used is the Plantronics Audio 995 headset. Very comfy with nice audio quality.

The reason I got these was because I tried 5 different bluetooth sets and could not get any to turn on after initial pairing process! These come with an infrared transmitter that plugs into charging stand and earphone jack on computer. In your search, you must specify infrared phones and infrared transmitter or you will find infrared phones which only work with a TV with an infrared sensor!
