I bought a hand made leather wallet-case on Etsy for about the same price as the BookBook that I think is far superior. I'm writing this post because it's been several months and it's held up well, is still handsome, and I like the idea of pushing people towards a small company that does things well: Hand stitched iPhone 4/S case by zenokleather. I got THIS one.
Better than the BookBook because:
1. The silicon case inside the wallet is incredibly durable and is much more flexible and handsome, allowing you to pull out the phone whenever you want.
2. It's a single piece of leather, hand stitched, and gorgeous!.
3. It has a slot for the camera and flash.
4. When folded open it has it's own ramp, which gives it a bit of a viewing angle when you put it on a desk or flat surface.
5. More options for color and stitch, possible monograming. A more unique product.
6. Very good communication with the seller during the whole process. (Why I look for tech accessories on Etsy, actually. Consumer experience is the live or die there.)
I have no affiliation with the seller, but I had a good experience and I know you guys like these unique touches and buyer experiences...
