I have a Mac Mini Server running the latest OSX - not the server edition.
I use it as a headless web server and also to server my media to the rest of the home.
It runs great and is on 24/7.
On the occasions when I need to reboot it - updates etc. - I access it via Remote desktop and give it the command to reboot.
It will start the shut down and then either during the shutdown or the reboot phase it will hang - I don't know which as it headless and the remote desktop has already stopped running.
I have to physically turn the power off and then on and it reboots perfectly.
Not a great inconvenience, but I'd like any advice to correct this issue.
Thanks
