Does anyone know how to transfer video files from a Dish Network box/recorder onto my Powerbook? Our old box is having problems, so Dish sent us a new one, but now I either have to transfer the videos to tape (ugh) or find out a way to get them onto my PB and burn them onto DVD. I found a package at Best Buy for $80 that could do it (I believe). Anything cheaper??

Thanks!

What kind of "out" does the Dish thing have? If it's RCA, look at this FW device called a "Miglia" (I think that's the brand...). It let's you import video from RCA into iMovie or to Quicktime.
