Sample movie dialogue for playlists

I want to simply make mixtapes same as I did when I was a kid, this means interspersing the songs in an itunes playlist with snatches of dialogue.
I have a free app called ringer which does this perfectly to make ring tones but the bits of audio won't play in playlists, even if i change the file to .mp3.

Is there any way of doing it through ringer, or can anyone reccomend some audio software pref free. ( I have al the movies and tv stuff in my itunes)
