My wife is downloading iOS 6 on her 4s right now. Mine still says 5.1.1 (Southern California). lol.

Why are some able to download it and not all?

There's not enough "new stuff", again since you're coming from a 4S, to make it that exciting.

I have GM and I'm in Europe, Bosnia. No OTA for us with GM, its same build.

You'll need the 600MB to download, plus space to install... So you'll probably need to move music/apps off to make room... Especially is with the 8GB 3GS...

Anyone now how the release schedule looks like?

Nothing yet in Spokane, WA. I see absolutely no pattern with who's able to get it and who's not.
